A true Gilford favorite just minutes from the cabin. Consistently good food, friendly people and a lively local atmosphere make Patrick’s one of our easy go-to recommendations.

Junction Restaurant & Provisions

A Lakeport favorite with a bright, comfortable atmosphere and excellent food. A great choice when you’re looking for a really good dinner and cocktails.

Lakehouse Grille

A longtime favorite with a warm, rustic New Hampshire atmosphere and beautiful lake views. With something on the menu for just about everyone, it’s an easy choice for a casual dinner or a special night out.

Annie’s Cafe & Catering

A little local gem just a few miles from the cabin. Fresh-baked quiche, breads, cinnamon rolls and changing daily specials make this one of our favorite breakfast and lunch stops.

Close to Home

A few local favorites just minutes from the cabin.

Beans & Greens Farm

One of our favorite stops right down the road. Shop the farm market, grab something to eat, catch live music in the Biergarten or enjoy one of their seasonal events. There’s always something different happening throughout the year.

Gilford Village Store

Just a couple of minutes from the cabin and our go-to for a quick local stop. Pick up basic groceries, snacks and prepared food without having to make a bigger trip into town.

Bank NH Pavilion

One of New England’s best outdoor concert venues is practically in our backyard. Catch a show, enjoy the food and drink vendors, and take advantage of being able to get back to the cabin without a long drive afterward.

Lake & Beach Days

Whether you’re traveling with kids or simply love a good beach day, there are several nearby spots to enjoy the water, including Ellacoya State Park, Weirs Beach and Bartlett Beach. Pack the towels and enjoy a classic Lakes Region beach day.

Favorite places worth exploring around the Lakes Region.

Meredith

Spend a few hours, or a full day exploring one of our favorite Lakes Region towns. Walk along Meredith Bay and the Sculpture Walk. Browse the shops on Main Street, grab lunch or dinner, and enjoy the waterfront.

Wolfeboro

A beautiful lakefront town that’s perfect for wandering. Explore the shops and cafés, grab lunch, watch the boats come and go, and enjoy the classic Lake Winnipesaukee atmosphere.

Squam Lakes Natural Science Center

A wonderful day trip for all ages, with walking trails, gardens, and live native animal exhibits. You can even pair it with a cruise on Squam Lake or a waterfront meal nearby.

Center Harbor

Start with breakfast or lunch at Gusto Café, a favorite for homemade pastries and creative craft sandwiches, then spend some time browsing the local shops around Center Harbor. It’s an easy stop for good food, a little shopping and some relaxed Lakes Region wandering.
